Hurricane Michael began by battering New Mexico as a large tropical storm. It then developed into a category 1 hurricane. It is expected to hit Florida Wednesday. Shelters are opening as evacuees scramble to get out of the way of the HUGE storm. It is expected to become bigger before it officially hits. Former storm veterans have bad feelings about this…… News Herald Editor Mike Cazalas felt that this is a different kind of storm. It bears his name, and is landing close to his birthday. He’s not taking it lightly. Other officers, reporters, and journalists have felt that this one is different, as well. It seems to be a much more ferocious storm. As if it’s out to hurt….. And to kill.
